The Popularity of Womens Fragrances ...There is a better way!

Womens fragrances are often sweet, but mild to give the person that smells it the thought of a field full of sweet smelling flowers.

Sometimes however, the perfume wearer prefers a musk smell; this smell is often less sweet and much milder to the nose.

The scent that the woman wears is really her preference, and she is the only one that knows which one perfume is perfect for her.

Perfume has been used for thousands of years, and will most likely be used for several thousand more because of its popularity.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~tip~~~~~~~~~~~~~~tip~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you find that the alcohol, or some other ingredient, breaks out or irritates your skin you can get the same great scents in pure form. Get some rose oil or lavender and dab a bit on your neck, and wrists, this way you smell great and don’t irritate your skin.
Thousands of years ago perfume was used as part of a ritual…
Womens fragrances have been around for thousands of years, and have been very important to wealthier people long ago to hide the smell of filth.
Bathing was not a regular event, even for the rich, way back in the medieval times; as a matter of fact they bathed only a couple of times a year. Therefore sweet smelling scents such as perfume were a necessity.
The Egyptians however used Perfumes and other sweet smelling scents as part of religious ceremonies and later as part of a pre-love making ritual.
In a sense the use of perfume has not changed…other than the fact that we tend to bathe more than 3-4 times a year!
But, we still don perfume when going out to an event, and women still use perfume as a sign of their sexuality.
Why women love to wear lingering fragrances.
Everyone has been walking thru an upscale department store and been attacked by the perfume tester lady.
Her job is to subject you to the scent and make you stop to smell some more tester fragrances.
She is hoping that you find that one perfume that you can’t live without and she will make a sale.
Women are drawn to perfumes because of the fact that long after your presence has left your loved one, your scent is still there.
And we all want to be remembered or thought about after we have gone.
We identify smells with a person, place, or thing; if you think about it when you are describing something you generally make mention of the smell.
If you are wearing an amazing perfume it will be mentioned, and remembered.
What are the differences in womens fragrances?
Although many of us think any type of fragrant liquid in a bottle is perfume, it is not! There are huge differences.
Perfume is the most expensive of the sweet smelling liquids. It consists of 22% pure essential oils; essential oils are where the smell comes from.
Eau de Parfum is the next in line; it comes in at 15-22% essential oils.
Then comes Eau de Toilette it has a concentration of 8-15% essential oils.
The last is the weakest formula it is called Eau de Cologne it has only 4% essential oils.
Okay so what are the differences??
Perfume is typically stronger in scent, but tends to be less drying and irritating because it contains more of the oil and less of the ethyl alcohol, which is what, makes up the remaining percentage of the perfume.
Knowing perfume contains more oil and less alcohol is generally why people opt to buy it, rather than the less expensive types.
If you have extremely sensitive skin and find that you have been breaking out when you wear it, try the real thing, try perfume rather than the cheaper stuff and see if it makes a difference.
If you still tend to break out or it irritates your skin try making your own scents, there are several stores that offer pure essential oils.
Knowing perfume is made of these essential oils may help you make your own. Try mixing it with water instead of the drying alcohol
