Skincare Questions and answers ...solutions to your most challanging skin problems!
These are the top five skincare questions I have collected and answered them here...
Many people fail to take care of their skin because they simply don’t realize how important skincare is, or which products are truly necessary.
Many skincare products, and their wild claims of age reversal or complete moisture, are nothing the more than a bunch of lab created chemicals.
The skin care industry is BIG business; market research suggests that by the year 2010 the industry will make an astounding 7.2 billion dollars a year!
Honestly, this is not that surprising if you take into account the fact that every two weeks there is some new anti-aging face cream skincare that costs a whopping $50.00 an ounce!
Luckily, great skin care doesn’t have to come in a 1 ounce jar, OR break the bank. Great skincare comes from knowing the essentials, and sometimes learning some secrets from mother earth…after all she is the oldest lady around!

Applying an all natural (cold processed) oil such as olive oil, almond oil, grape seed oil ...directly after bathing, but before drying off, is a great way to lock moisture into the skin.

Skincare Question 1:
What are the essentials to face skincare?
Skincare essentials are as easy as 1, 2, 3. The first step is to ensure you keep yourself hydrated. When the body becomes dehydrated it pulls moisture from everywhere in order to re-hydrate itself, this includes the skin.
Number two is to cleanse, exfoliate (when needed), and moisturize. Remember this means every where, not just your face.
Body skincare is just as important as taking care of the skin on your face!
Number three is protection; your skin is your first line of defense against everything. You must be sure to protect it from nasty toxins, and harmful UV rays.
Skincare Question 2:
So, how’s a girl… or guy, to know which skincare products are junk, and which products are the real deal?
The first thing you need to know is, your body doesn’t create toxic chemicals, nor does it process them well. The use of lab created chemicals is the number one cause of allergic reactions.
The first step in the right direction to choosing a good skincare product is to choose an all natural, or at least a 99% natural product.

Here is a good rule to go by… if you wouldn’t eat it, don’t put it on your skin!

Skincare Question 3:
What Ingredients do I need to look for in an All Natural Skin Care Product?
This really depends on what you are looking to use the moisturizers for; different ingredients are needed for different areas of specialty.
There are some basic key ingredients that any good moisturizer should have; these are vitamins A, C, and E. These vitamins are essential to any great product skincare, but that is not all.
Every good moisturizer, or skincare cream, needs a base and for this you need an all natural oil, this may be in the form of olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, or a mixture of many. The list of natural oils is very long this is just the most commonly used types.
Also there are many all natural scents that are very beneficial to the skin, such as lavender, rosemary, rose oil, and so on. If you are curious of an all natural ingredient simply research it.
Skincare Question 4:
Why is it so important to moisturize?
There are several reasons why moisturizing is important. One good reason is to keep yourself healthy, and another is for cosmetic purposes.
Your skin is your body’s first line of defense against outside germs and parasites. In order to maintain…maximum security, you must be sure that the skin stays intact, free of breaks and tears.
Dry skin has a tendency to be less flexible, therefore tears a lot easier. Also, severely dry skin will crack, and these cracks allow germs and parasites in.
Cosmetically speaking the reasons to moisturize are obvious, healthy smooth skin is a lot nicer than wrinkly dry skin, and dry skin can lead to itchy nasty looking rashes.

Skincare Question 5:
Why is it important to exfoliate?
This is a very good question. Your skin is constantly in a state of construction, continuously renewing itself.
Every 25 days your skin cells shed to make room for the beautiful glowing new cells beneath them. The problem occurs when the dead, dull skin stays attached.
Exfoliating gently removes these dead, dull cells, to not only reveal the beautiful new cells under them, but this exfoliating process allows the new skin cells to breath.
