Intelligent Skincare Basics ...And Beyond!
Intelligent skincare doesn’t require a PHD in micro biology, nor does it require a masters degree in dermatology.
Fabulously intelligent skincare is within everyone’s grasp, all it takes is a little common knowledge and lot of dedication... and the right philosophy!
Your skin is about as basic as anything, or anyone, give it some TLC and take care of it with products and applications that are natural-to-the-skin and it will continue to treat you with lovely youthful clear skin.
On the other hand baking in a tanning booth or in the sun, or not cleansing and moisturizing appropriately will leave your skin sad, dried out, and wrinkly.
No one wants this!

After washing and toning your face in the morning follow your moisturizer with a delicate sunscreen before applying your make up. This way your face looks flawless and you are still protected!

Intelligent skincare starts young!
Many younger women have a common misconception that they don’t have to worry about moisturizers and skincare until they are older.
This common misconception is what gets a lot of people in trouble.
You see the absolute best skincare, whether it is body skincare face skincare, or otherwise is to start before the damage has occurred.
And don’t always assume that just because you are young that you can repair the damage you have inflicted on your skin… because sometimes you can’t!
Your body is usually very forgiving, however, you skin can be quite stubborn. In many cases, not all but many, when the damage is done, it is done and there is no way to turn back time.
This very fact is why it is so important to start taking care of your skin from a very young age, and don’t follow the young girl trend of tanning!
Yes, their tan may look good now BUT when they turn 30 they will look 45 and you will still look 24!
How to be intelligent about your skincare…
Skincare essentials are so basic we learn them at a very young age… 1. Cleanse, 2. Balance (Tone), 3. Moisturize/Protect, and above all use Sunscreen!
Additional steps ... Nightly massaging and mask/exfoliate two to three times per week.
Many people take for granted that body skincare is equally as important as facial skincare… skincare face, body skincare, it is all important.
There are certain guidelines that skincare companies follow when making a product. For instance the amount of moisturizer that a 20 year old needs is far less than the amount a 40 year old needs.
However, these are simply guidelines set in place to help you determine which type of moisturizer you should use.
To be smart about your skin care try and judge your skin against the majority of women in your age group, if your skin is less dry than theirs maybe you need a less moisturizer.
If everyone where the same these companies would have it made wouldn’t they? But everyone is different, and intelligent skincare takes some individual judgment!
After all no one knows your skin better than you!
The Number one Intelligent Skincare Tip is…
Don’t, I repeat, don’t ever put chemicals on your face! I don’t know who came up with the idea that chemical peels and heavy toxins were a great ingredient to cosmetic products, but they’re not, so don’t do it! ...And stay out of the sun!!
The secret to looking and feeling younger is not really a secret at all, we all have it in us, we just never imagined it was this easy.
Taking great care of your skin and allowing it to shine well into your golden years…smoothly, is basic common sense.
A good rule I live by is, if I wouldn’t eat it I am not putting it on my skin…with the exception of mud, I am not eating mud! But, I’ll put it on my skin.
...like a wonderful clay mask to reduce oil.
Intelligent skincare is well within everyone’s grasp, get good all natural-to-the-skin products, avoid the harsh rays of the sun, and take the common sense approach to great skincare!
