A dry skin lotion can be dangerous... the lotion I used made my neck bleed! Ouch!

A dry skin lotion I used cracked and made my neck bleed! Ouch! and the manufacturer had no help for me, what-so-ever! There are some manufacturers that do not research skin and their products.

Is dry skin natural? Some men think that to apply a lotion to themselves is not necessary. I had the skin on my fore-arms analyzed, then on top of the fore arm. It blew me away! The sun damage on top of my fore-arms is unbelievable compared to the underside where there is no direct sunlight striking the skin.

You should shop and research the products you are considering to make sure the manufacturer is reputable with the philosophy of natural-to-the-skin. The sun block should be a specific "dry skin creme" for the best results.

Here in Albuquerque we had a scientist from Sandia National Laboratories do a study on sun block lotions. He found a lot of interesting things like... some sun block bottles of 30 SPF, could only achieve that by using the entire bottle.

That is why it is a good idea that you look for a manufacturer that has been around a while and that has a quality reputation, and has the right philosophy about skin care.

Black dry skin has similar challenges as white or any color of dry skin. All human skin has sweat glands that produce water and sebaceous glands that produce oil. (Water and oil that form the skins "natural moisturizer"). My sister-in-law does not sweat... when she gets hot she passes out. (I do not understand that).
